About The Stamp
Garden
My name
is Valarie Hill (Val for short). I took ownership of The Stamp Garden
in August 2006. The Stamp garden captured my heart years ago when I
first shopped in it. When Kathryn Brue decided she wanted to
retire her 10 year title as owner and spend time with her family and
grandchildren, I decided to take a leap of faith. Kathryn had done
a wonderful job of creating a successful and vibrant business.
Combining that with my love for creativity and art, I felt I could
continue The Stamp Garden reputation of inspiration and pleasure.
My goal is to be
a fun and relaxing art rubber stamp shop providing you, the artist,
with all your stamping needs to fuel your creative spirit. I want
to see all my customers happy-so if you don't see it, ask. I will
check into it and do my best to get it for you. Demonstrations are
always available if you're questioning on how something works or how
to accomplish a desired effect or look. Classes are available for
making beautiful projects, sometimes learning new techniques and always
socializing with great people. I hope you'll check them out.
If you would like to see a class done on a particular project or
technique, please tell me.
My hope is that
The Stamp Garden will offer something to everyone, from the cautious
beginner (they know they can get hooked) to the cultivated artist.
I look forward to sharing many years with you as one of your favorite
shops.
